A mind shield that allows you to:

  • Surface all worries and tasks that need to be done, clearing up headspace;
  • Prioritize the list quickly;
  • Focus and solve one by one using time boxes*;

While you work IRL, your space factory will build a Dyson array**.

* (A time box is a determined amount of time to work with full focus, followed by a break. It reduces procrastination and distractions, while giving you regular breaks to reassess the list and recover.)

**(A megastructure that encompasses a star and captures a large percentage of its power.)

How to use:

1. Add Tasks - Use the input field to add work items

2. Drag and drop or use the arrow buttons on the cards to prioritize the list

3. Start Focus Session - Hit "Go to Focus Mode" button

4. The first task will appear on the focus session

5. Set the duration of the session by dragging the slider

6. Hit the "START" button to start the session

7. Do Real Work - Work on your tasks while robots build your array

8. Watch as the operation advances - Your focus time powers the simulation

Camera Controls:

• Right-click: Enter Free Flight mode (WASD to move, Q and E to chenge height, mouse to look around)

• Use the Bottom left controls to change camera modes

Design intentions:

This is supposed to be an app to use on a second monitor or corner of the screen, replacing a distracting web browser and letting you focus fully on the current task.

The progression of the array construction (a seemingly huge task) through small steps should mirror real life projects: One can make large goals less daunting by breaking them down into small steps that compound over time.

The simulation should be mildly interesting. It cannot be controlled, so that it won't occupy any space in your mind with theory crafting.
